Registration Info

*We have received numerous emails concerning issues with Registration and we are working through each issue as they come in – please continue to email sysasignup@gmail.com if you experience issues. See below for full registration details.

Registration is now open for 2025 (see programs details below).

Here are the steps to register this year…

2. Existing PowerUp users login to your existing account.
3. New PowerUp users signup at the top right of the welcome page, then inside PowerUp you can fill in your profile as a parent (not player), unless you are signing up as a player for our senior women’s or men’s team.
4. Make sure you have a profile for each player (child) by adding a family member under “Profile” in the left-hand menu.
5. You can setup profiles for co-guardians (up to 3).
6. Once you have player profiles, you can access the registration based on your player age and gender such as mini soccer age groups (U5, U7, U9), the girls and boys league teams (U11, U13, U18), or senior teams. Select the registration for your player, follow screens to fill in any required information, and proceed to checkout.
7. Payment is made through the PowerUp system. When you select payment method (e.g. Mastercard) it is possible to select funding programs such as Jumpstart or Kidsport (see details below).

– Any questions you have along the way should be sent to sysasignup@gmail.com.

Age groups (also see Under 3 age group topic next):

Note: Fees cover mandatory Soccer New Brunswick charges that include insurance coverage, and we have one paid local youth coordinator, equipment costs (balls, nets, pinnies and jerseys, cones etc.), and referee fees for teams playing league games. Sackville Youth Soccer breaks-even with donations from local merchants, a small grant and substantial in-kind support from the Town, as well as a New Brunswick Day fundraiser coordinated with Town activities.

Funding for registration and gear costs:
A few people each year have successfully applied for funding to cover registration fees and gear costs. Visit the websites at https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/ or https://kidsportcanada.ca/new-brunswick/ or reply to this email for more information.

Under 3 age group:
We have interest every year in soccer for kids aged 3 and under. We offer a free program at this age level and welcome all families to register through PowerUp and participate. The aim will be for parents and kids to enjoy being active and playing games in a soccer context. There is no requirement for soccer gear, just comfortable clothing to suit the weather of the day, and it is flexible for families to attend when they can. Please help us spread this message to others in the community as we do not have many contacts for families with kids under 4.

Soccer programs:
Sackville Youth Soccer promotes age-appropriate fun and development based on provincial and national soccer programs. For more information visit Soccer NB (www.soccernb.org/view/soccernb) and Soccer Canada (canadasoccer.com/).

Season starts:
Grassroots Mini and Youth Rec programs U5, U7, & U9 start the second or third week of June when Town staff open fields (we will announce the first day).

Eastern Soccer League teams U11, U13, & U18 and competitive Senior teams start league play in early June.

Adult Co-Ed start date TBD.
